As a Support Worker you will provide housing and recovery support to people who have a history of substance and/or alcohol issues, are abstinent and living in supported housing. Working within a Psychologically Informed Environment you will support the case coordination of individuals residing in the project and the provision of both opportunistic and structured interventions to support residents towards behaviours that support wellbeing and active citizenship and meaningful alternatives to problematic substance and alcohol use.
You will work closely with the staff team and partner organisations to develop integrated, recovery infrastructures that engage, support and navigate individuals from the vulnerability of addiction to established wellbeing and meaningful activity in the community.
Closing date Friday 07/12/2018, 5pm. Interviews to take place on Thursday 13/12/2018. Applicants will be notified regarding interviews on Monday 10/12/2018.
