We offer a range of behaviour change programmes for people affected by drug and/or alcohol addiction.
Behaviour Change at RIVER
Preparation for Change
Encouraging people to identify their strengths, motivations, resources. Preparation for Change reflects on the links between actions and values.
Foundations of Change
Building on a motivation and commitment to change. Foundations of Change helps increase insight and self-understanding. Workshops highlight our wellbeing needs, and how we can meet them naturally.
Foundations of Growth
Learning how negative thoughts influence behaviour. Foundations of Growth nurtures an understanding of better communication and helps people put their learning into practice to refine skills and build new healthy habits.
Live & Thrive
Maintaining abstinence through focussed workshops. Live and Thrive raises tolerance to discomfort so that people can learn to respond to thoughts and emotions without the use of drugs or alcohol.
Referrals
All referrals for our behaviour change programmes come via CGL as part of post treatment planning.

Family Support
Emerging Futures also offer a Coach-led family support service . We deliver a variety of support groups, for family members and loved ones supporting someone in addiction/recovery. All of which are fully confidential.
Referrals
We can directly receive referrals for our Family Support service. Get in touch by email, and we will respond as soon as we can.
Coaching
We recruit and train volunteer Family and Recovery Coaches to support those in recovery and their family members to fulfil their goals and move forward. The five day training course is fully accredited.
