You’ll provide housing and recovery support to women with histories of failed accommodation placements, substance misuse, criminality, and challenging behaviours, helping them move towards independence and recovery.
This role involves supporting vulnerable female residents who have experienced male-perpetrated abuse and trauma. The therapeutic programme is delivered within a female-only housing facility, requiring regular on-site access, including lone working. To maintain a safe, therapeutic environment, and due to the nature of the work, it is a requirement that all applicants must be of the same sex as the residents.
In a Psychologically Informed Environment, you’ll help coordinate cases, assess needs, create support plans, and deliver structured interventions to promote wellbeing, active citizenship, and alternatives to substance use.
You will collaborate with staff and external partners to create recovery support systems and plans that help individuals move from addiction to wellbeing and community involvement.
The role requires flexibility, including working evenings and weekends.
