About the role

As a Recovery Support Worker, you will support the recruitment, supervision and training of volunteer Recovery Coaches working within our recovery service.

You will also deliver a range of interventions designed to prevent the escalation of substance misuse, reduce the harm of any current use and support the move towards behaviours that support health and wellbeing.

You will build links within the community and create strong working relationships with partners to offer a range of support for individuals.

About you

  • You are a problem solver who likes to see things through to the end.
  • You have good interpersonal and listening skills.
  • Patience and resilience come naturally to you, as this role can be emotive.
  • Above all, you will be enthusiastic and have a genuine desire to support people to transform their lives.
