Steven began his career in corporate banking, spending 25 years with Bank of Scotland and Lloyds Banking Group advising diverse businesses on funding structures, capital investment strategies and management exits. Transitioning his commercial acumen into community environments, Steven has delivered comprehensive restructuring, operational improvement plans, and enhanced governance frameworks in a variety of sectors, most recently focusing on a multi-site care group and a modular building business. In his executive career as a Managing Director, he successfully spearheaded a strategic expansion that tripled organisational revenues while developing workforce capabilities and establishing rigorous board oversight.
A strong advocate for organisational efficiency and process driven results Steven has a qualification in Manufacturing Awareness & Lean Manufacturing Principles and also holds a CMI Level 7 qualification in Strategic ESG Leadership. Steven combines deep financial literacy with robust risk management to ensure organisations delivers vital accountability, regulatory compliance, and sustainable long-term value to its service users and communities.
